savko.dev is an independent web-development project. I build small, genuinely useful tools and browser extensions, write practical guides about SEO and web performance, and ship all of it for free — with no tracking, no accounts and no paywalls.
What I build
Everything here is made to solve a real problem I ran into, then polished enough to be worth sharing:
- SEO Inspector — a free Chrome extension that runs a full on-page SEO analysis in one click: meta tags, headings, images, links, Open Graph, hreflang, Core Web Vitals, HTTP status and sitemap checks. It runs entirely in your browser and collects no data.
- Robots Checker PRO — a free Chrome extension that answers one question: why isn't this page indexed? It gives you one verdict plus every signal behind it — the robots.txt rule that actually matched, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical and HTTP status — evaluated with Google's own matching algorithm across 27 crawlers, 16 of them AI bots. - Event Inspector — a free Chrome extension for debugging GA4 tracking: it captures every
dataLayerpush andgtag()call in a side panel, keeps them across page reloads and flags broken ecommerce markup — duplicated orders, missing value or currency, totals that don't add up. Runs locally, no account. Free on the Chrome Web Store. - Tools — small, browser-only utilities that work without sign-up and never send your data anywhere.

What I believe
A few principles guide everything on this site:
- Privacy first. The tools run locally in your browser. No analytics that follow you, no selling data, no account required to use anything.
- Free and open. The tools and guides are free to use. I'd rather build a useful thing in public than gate it.
- No fluff. The writing is meant to be read by people who ship — concise, technical, and honest about trade-offs.
Who's behind it
savko.dev is built and maintained by a single independent developer. It's a personal project, which means you're talking to the person who actually writes the code and the articles — not a support queue. If something is broken, unclear, or could be better, I want to hear it.
