About me
I'm Vladislav Savko, a full-stack developer with over 10 years of experience building for the web. I design and build complete products end to end — websites, web applications, browser extensions and plugins, and internal tools — working across the whole stack with JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js and Next.js on the front and PHP / MySQL on the back. Alongside development I do hands-on technical SEO: the on-page, crawlability and performance work that decides whether what you build actually gets found.
Over that decade I've shipped a wide range of projects — from marketing sites and content platforms to web apps and browser extensions — which is where the practical, no-theory perspective in these articles comes from. savko.dev is where I put that experience to use in public: free tools and honest write-ups, no fluff.
What I build
Day to day I build websites, web applications and browser extensions / plugins for clients and my own products — often on platforms like WordPress, OpenCart and MODX. Everything on savko.dev below is something I built to solve a real problem, then made free and public:
- SEO Inspector — a free Chrome extension that runs a full on-page SEO analysis in one click: meta tags, headings, images, links, Open Graph, hreflang, Core Web Vitals, HTTP status, DNS and sitemap checks. It runs entirely in your browser and collects no data.
- Robots Checker PRO — a free Chrome extension that explains why a page isn't indexed: the robots.txt rule that actually matched, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag, canonical and HTTP status, evaluated across 27 crawlers including 16 AI bots. Runs locally; free on the Chrome Web Store.
- Event Inspector — a free Chrome extension that captures GA4 dataLayer and gtag events in a side panel, keeps them across page reloads and validates ecommerce markup: duplicate transaction IDs, missing value or currency, item totals that don't match. Runs locally; free on the Chrome Web Store.
- Tools — small, privacy-first browser utilities that work without sign-up and never send your data anywhere.
- Blog — practical, no-fluff guides on SEO, performance and the web, written from real project experience.
